UTILITES BULLETIN:
DO NOT SUBMIT THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE ORDER FORM unless you require more than the single 1000 watt outlet provided by Show Management. All electrical outlets will be placed at the back of your hard wall booth unless otherwise requested. If you request a different location, you must provide a layout showing outlet locations and you will incur a labor charge. If you have additional electrical needs which are not listed on the enclosed electrical forms under the FACILITY/UTILITES tab, or if you have any questions, please contact Specialized Event Services (SES) at (702)733-5070. Please note, there is NO sharing of power.
IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL:
- NO sharing of power.
- All Halogen or Quartz lights must have a safety cover.
- All electrical wiring must be properly grounded.
- Each 10x10 booth is provided a single 1000 watt outlet.
SPECIAL TRACK LIGHTING:
If you order track lighting from the Sands Expo and Convention Center, it will be installed with the adjustable bar, you do not need to order this separately. Please review this form carefully and call the Specialized Event Services (SES) with any questions at (702) 733-5070.
If you have two or more booths, you may need a vertical pole to support these adjustable bars can only expand to 10’. Therefore, if you have a 20’ booth, you will need to order one vertical pole to support the two adjustable bars. Mark you booth layout on the form, you will find in this section, where these poles are needed. The electricians will provide these additional bars.
If you are providing your own lights and you need to attach them to an adjustable bar, please see order form in the GENERAL CONTRACTOR (Freeman) section.
HOW MUCH CAN I PLACE ON A 1000-WATT ELECTRIC LINE?
On your electrical order form, there is a section requesting the number of watts your lights will use. For example, a 150-watts, two 150-watt lights uses 300 watts, etc. Wattage varies depending on usage, please make sure to allow for some flexibility or you may overload the circuits.
The showcases provided by Levin and Associates will use approximately 75 watts for each showcase with the fluorescent lights. The six-foot showcases use the same wattage as the four-foot showcases. The special halogen light showcases use approximately 150 watts.
To calculate the total wattage you need, add the watts used by your lighting needs to the watts used by your showcases to get the total number of watts needed. If you have special needs, please contact the Specialized Event Services (SES) with any questions at (702) 733-5070 for assistance.
