Registration Qualifications
- Retailers of finished jewelry whose primary business is the purchase and resale of finished jewelry operating from a commercial retail location and are listed in the JBT as a retail jeweler will be admitted to the Show.
- Retail members of NAJA and all other appraisers who submit a copy of their current membership card from a recognized appraiser association and a business license will be admitted to the Show.
- Retailers of specialty/gift products whose primary business is the purchase and resale of gift items operating from a commercial retail location must submit required documents as listed in retailer qualification section.
If you do not meet the above retailer qualifications, you must provide the following:
Retailers:
- Copy of your store lease or photograph of inside and outside of store.
- Copy of your business license or sales tax certificate.
- Copies of itemized invoices from three different suppliers of finished jewelry purchased within the past year. Each invoice must be for multiple purchases of finished jewelry which show a combined minimum total of $10,000. Please translate all invoices into English.
Wholesaler Qualifications
- Jewelry wholesalers who qualified for the 2005-2007 JCK Las Vegas Shows do not need to re-qualify. They will be admitted to the show. Wholesalers are not allowed to register at the show. Jewelry wholesalers who did not qualify for the 2005-2007 JCK Las Vegas Show must submit all of the following documents by April 28, 2008:
- Copies of itemized invoices from five different suppliers of finished jewelry only or gift items only purchased within the last 12 months prior to the Show date. Each invoice must be for multiple purchases of finished jewelry only or gift items only which show a combined total of $100,000. Please translate all invoices into English.
- Copy of business license.
Admission is NOT granted to:
- General Public/Guests
- Non-exhibiting manufacturers, suppliers, designers, loose stone dealers.
- Individuals operating businesses from home.
- Wholesalers (on-site) who did not register in advance.
- All individuals under the age of 14 including infants
Advance Registration
- Registration forms received by 4/28/08 will be processed within 7 – 10 business days.
- Registration confirmation will be emailed, faxed, or mailed to main contact prior to the Show.
- Wholesalers must register by 4/28/08. Wholesalers may not register on-site.
Badge Mailing/Verification
- Badges will be mailed four weeks prior to the Show.
- If you do not receive your Badge prior to leaving for the Show, you are required to bring the following 3 items with you to receive admittance to the Show.
- Registration confirmation email or fax
- Personal identification (driver's license with photo or passport)
- Personal business identification (personalized business card, W2 form, or cancelled payroll check). Important Note: No exceptions to this rule. Pre-Registration does not guarantee immediate entry into the Show.
- All badges must be validated prior to entry into the exhibit areas. Your badge can be validated at one of the Validation Desks conveniently located within the Venetian Hotel and Sands Convention Center. You are required to bring these following 3 items with you to receive admittance to the Show.
- Your badge(s)
- Personal identification (driver's license with photo or passport)
- Personal business identification (personalized business card, W2 form, or cancelled payroll check). Important Note: No exceptions to this rule. Pre-Registration does not guarantee immediate entry into the Show.
**Note - Because you have received your badge in the mail, it does not and will not count as personalized business identification. You must present your identification on-site in order to be scanned and receive a badge holder.**
**Please note that your badge is the property of JCK and is non-transferable and will be confiscated upon any attempt to transfer to another individual. In addition if you misplace your badge you are jeopardizing the security of the JCK event. There will be a fee of $100 to reprint a misplaced or lost badge. We will only reprint a badge one time at the Show.
Important Information:
- Individual personalized business and personal photo identifications must be carried at all times.
- No one will be permitted to vouch for another individual's credentials.
- Do not make hotel and travel reservations until you are approved for admittance to the Show.
- Any photographs taken of you during the JCK Show - Las Vegas 2008 show may be used for promotional purposes.
- International badges including Mexico and Canada will not be mailed and must be picked up at the registration counter at the event.
